Built from real business experience

Digital work shaped by a decade of business experience.

Ducie Street Media grew from first-hand business experience. Scott, our founder, has spent a decade building and managing Charlie Scott’s and Charlie & Friends online.

That work developed into a genuine focus on web design, ecommerce, SEO, and digital consultancy. It also created a clear standard for client work: honest advice, clear communication, and recommendations that have a practical reason behind them.

You work directly with Scott throughout the project, from the first conversation to launch and ongoing improvement.

Before you enquire

Common questions

Clear starting information helps you decide whether the fit is right.

How much does a business website cost?

Our business websites start from £1,500 for a focused website of up to five standard pages. Full ecommerce website projects start from £4,500, while smaller improvements to suitable existing websites can be quoted separately.

The final price depends on the number and complexity of pages, content requirements, booking or ecommerce functionality, integrations, and any work needed on an existing website. We'll confirm the agreed scope and price before the project begins.

What is included in a standard website build?

The £1,500 starting website package includes planning, responsive design and development for up to five standard pages, finished website copy written by DSM using accurate information supplied by your business, SEO foundations, a standard enquiry form, two organised revision rounds, and core launch checks.

You'll also receive a handover. Specialist functionality, larger content requirements, and ongoing services are agreed and quoted separately where appropriate.

Can you improve my existing website without rebuilding it?

Yes. If your existing website has a suitable foundation, we can make focused improvements to its content, navigation, layouts, mobile usability, forms, or other agreed functionality without replacing the entire site.

We review the current website and the changes required before recommending focused development, a redesign, or a full rebuild. The aim is to retain what works rather than recommend unnecessary replacement.

Can you support my website after launch, and is hosting included?

Yes. We offer separately agreed website maintenance and support, ad hoc updates, managed WordPress hosting, and ongoing SEO.

Hosting and maintenance are separate services. You can choose eligible managed WordPress hosting without a maintenance plan, maintenance without moving your hosting, or both together where appropriate.

Ongoing services are not automatically included in a website-build quotation unless expressly agreed.

What does your ongoing SEO service actually include?

Ongoing SEO starts from £500 per month. The starting service includes an agreed core SEO priority, one meaningful content or on-page improvement, Google Search Console monitoring, and a monthly progress summary.

The work is prioritised around the website's needs and commercially relevant searches. Larger content programmes, extensive technical development, and other additional requirements are scoped and quoted separately.

Can you connect my website enquiries to a CRM?

Yes. We can configure and connect established CRM platforms, including HubSpot, Pipedrive, and Zoho CRM, where suitable integrations are available.

Depending on the agreed requirements, work can include website enquiry capture, contact fields, lead stages, tasks, basic automated reminders, user permissions, reporting, and handover.

Bespoke CRM development, major enterprise migrations, and complex custom API engineering fall outside our standard service.

Can I commission just a logo without a full brand identity?

Yes. We offer a focused Logo Design service starting from £750, without requiring a complete brand identity project.

Brand Identity Design starts from £1,500 for businesses needing a wider visual system, including consistent colours, typography, and brand applications. A combined Brand Identity and Website package is also available from £2,750, subject to the agreed website requirements.

How do you work with businesses outside Manchester?

We are based in Manchester and work with businesses across the UK. Most projects are planned, discussed, and reviewed through video calls and online collaboration, allowing clients to work directly with Scott throughout the project.

In-person meetings can also be arranged where useful and practical, subject to agreement.

Do I need a finished project brief before getting in touch?

No. You can get in touch with your existing website, a description of the problem you want to solve, and any approximate budget or timeframe you have in mind. You don't need to know which service is right for you.

If the best approach isn't clear, a free 20-minute Project Fit Call can help identify the likely next step. Where more detailed analysis is needed, the separately agreed Digital Review & Roadmap starts from £500. The free introductory call is not a full website audit.
